Mullein

Mullein belongs to the snapdragon family and showcases a tall flowering head of beautiful bright yellow blossoms. It has been used to help support a healthy respiratory response for centeries as it offers relief with colds, bronchitis, and asthma. Mullein contains mucilage, which soothes irritated membranes and saponins that make coughs more productive. This plant is an expectorant, meaning it helps the body expel excess mucus by making coughs more productive in bringing up mucus that settles in the chest and throat.

Stinging Nettle Leaf

Stinging Nettle is an interesting plant. When consumed, it provides the body with a plethora of health benefits and is widely known as the most nutrient dense herb in the world. However, when handled in its natural form it can cause skin irritation as its name suggests. For centeries this plant has been used for asthma, mucus conditions in the lungs, chronic coughs, flu symptoms, bronchitis, and pneumonia due to its wide spectrum of highly absorbable vitamins and minerals. Stinging Nettle contains Vitamins A, C, K, Calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, all of the essential amino acids, and many other nutients that act as antioxidents in your body.

Burdock Root

Burdock root is a vegetable native to Northern Asia and Europe. The burdock plant’s deep roots contain many health benefits which is why it has been used in holistic healing for centeries. Burdock root is a powerhouse of antioxidants including quercetin, luteolin, and phenolic acids that protect your body from free radicals. These roots also contain active ingredients that help remove toxins from the bloodstream.

Ceylon Cinnamon

Luckily, cinnamon is a spice that is as tasty as it is good for you! Ceylon cinnamon contains cinnamaldehyde, a natural bioactive compound that helps support a healthy inflammatory response. Ceylon cinnamon is also full of antioxidants that help protect our body from free radicals, and is a good source of vitamin A, vitamin K, Potassium, Zinc, and Magnesium

Clove

Clove is one of the most common spices utilized worldwide. A great source of beta-carotene, clove contains antioxidents and provitamins that are capable of converting into Vitamin A. This spice also contains Eugenol which has been shown to support a healthy inflammatory response.

Apple

This blend contains both Granny Smith and Red Delicious apples, which are high in potassium, vitamin C, and the antioxidant quercetin, which helps to not only prevent certain cancers, but also supports a healthy inflammatory response. All in all, apples are not only delicious but are good for you!
