Red Raspberry Leaf

The leaf of a Raspberry plant has been used to treat menstrual cramps for generations. Known as a woman’s herb, Raspberry leaf tea has ability to relieve PMS symptoms due to a plant compound called fragarine. Fragarine helps to tone and tighten muscles around the pelvis, reducing cramps caused by muscle spasms in the area. Raspberry leaf tea is full of nutrients including iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamins B1, B3, C, and E.

Hibiscus

The flowers, stems, seeds, and roots of this tropical plant have been utilized in medicinal healing for hundreds of years across Africa, South America, and the Caribbean. Rich in antioxidants such as beta-carotene, vitamin C and anthocyanin, this plant is full of antioxidants that help to protect your body against free radicals. Studies have shown that Hibiscus fights inflammation in the body, aiding in womens health particularly around the time of their moon cycle. This plant also contains diuretic properties that increase urination and simultaneously lower blood pressure.

Rose

Rose petals contain anti-inflammatory effects and a vitamin profile that help to reduce menstrual pain. Studies have found a significant reduction in period-related cramping and bloating when consuming this plant on a regular basis. Rose also possesses the ability to increase our liver's bile duct production, which may aid in digestion and prevent constipation. Rose petals also contain polyphenols, which are antioxidants that work to protect your body from cell damage.

Damiana

Damiana is a wild shrub that is Native to South and Central America as well as the Caribbean. Often compared to cannabis due to its relaxing and simultaneously stimulating effects, this plant is widely promoted as an aphrodisiac, but is utilized in treating headaches, depression, upset stomach, and PSM symptoms. Active ingredients in Damiana include flavonoid antioxidants, caffeine, pinocembrin, cacetin, gonzalitosin, arbutin, tannin, thymol and damianin.

Strawberry

This fruit adds a slight sweetness to this tea blend as well as an excellent source of vitamin C, manganese, vitamin B9, and potassium. Strawberries are very rich in antioxidants that help fight against free radicles and protect your cells.

Apple

This blend contains both Granny Smith and Red Delicious apples, which are high in potassium, vitamin C, and the antioxidant quercetin, which helps to not only prevent certain cancers, but also supports a healthy inflammatory response. All in all, apples are not only delicious but are good for you!

Tart Cherry

Tart Cherries are not only delicious, but they help to fight inflammation in your body, boost your immune system, and aid in sleep and insomnia. Tart cherries contain anthocyanins which are antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds found in red, blue, and purple plants and protect your body against oxidative stress and aging. Tart cherries are rich in vitamin A, C, Manganese, Potassium, Copper, and Vitamin K. This fruit also contains high amounts of Melatonin which helps aid our body in getting a higher quality of sleep.

Two ways to try!

First, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Brew 1tbsp of immune booster tea for 12-15 minutes. Enjoy!

Second, add 1-2tbsp of immune booster tea to 2-3 cups of cold filtered water. Allow to steep overnight. Strain and enjoy!

Try adding Manuka Honey for a little extra sweetness!
